Former Minister Bathabile Dlamini has resigned as a Member of Parliament and South Africans couldn't be more thrilled.

Briefly.co.za reported earlier that Dlamini had thrown in the towel, opting to resign instead of serving as an ordinary MP.

Mzansi seemed thrilled across the board, taking to social media to comment on the situation. Eusebius McKaiser heralded it as good news, saying good riddance to the politician.
