It is still the belief of some fine ladies that there is a slight chance that someday Dumi will glance in their direction. Dumi, however, made it quite clear that he has eyes for only one lady in his life - and that is Dr Ziphozenkosi Mthembu, now also known as Mrs Mkokstad.

Briefly.co.za learnt that in a discussion with Isolezwe, Dumi said that since he and Zipho were children, he knew that one day she would be his wife. He stated that their friendship started when they were only eight-years-old.

By the time they were sixteen, Dumi declared to his family that one day he would marry Zipho. At that stage no one took him seriously as they were just children and only friends.
