Sometimes timing is everything in life and on social media.

This proved to be the case as a video went viral as it showcased a hilariously timed incident.

It was shared by twitter user, @EBakuTheGreat, on Sunday and has already amassed more than 1 million likes.

The footage shows how a shopping centre is flooded with water.

A concerned group of shoppers can be seen watching the water in the background, while one woman tries to collect some of the water in a bucket.

The thing that stood out the most is that a musical band was in the midst of a performance at the time.

Ironically, as the video is taken, the band can be heard playing the tune to the theme song from “The Titanic” movie.

The sound of Celine Dion’s ‘My heart will go on’ filled the shopping centre.

Briefly.co.za noted that the irony wasn’t lost on tweeps. However, some younger ones were unable to recognise the song.

Another highlight for some was the woman trying to catch a huge amount of water with a tiny bucket.
