Maps Maponyane has set out to help young people have a voice and get their messages and concerns heard. He wants to make Mzansi and the world a better place.
There is no denying that Maps has always been a caring and concerned citizen. The actor is an activist for change.
Briefly.co.za learnt that Maps is a part of an organisation called The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF), which strives to help mothers and children who have been victims of war and other traumatic events.
Maps took to social media to explain that UNICEF has launched an initiative called U-Report - which has set out to give children a voice - and he is a part of it.
In the post, Maps explained that U-Report allows children to have a say and raise concerns that mean something to them. Maps and other celebs are using their social influence to get these points heard and to make a difference.
If you would like to be a U-Report advocate, just follow the simple steps stated in Maps’ post.
