Malapane Ntebatse Vinolia took back control of her life and managed to make a success of herself after being mercilessly teased for her dark skin. She is now a model, graduate and business owner.
However, her journey has not always been easy. Born in a village in Bolobedu, Limpopo, Vinolia suffered constant bullying and criticism over her dark skin. The bullies pushed her to a point where she hated her skin.
Briefly.co.za reported that by the time she got to matric, the stunning young model had her confidence back and she no longer allowed haters to define her.
"I decided to take control over my life, that's the day I became free in life without caring what anyone has to say about me,"
Vinolia moved to Gauteng to pursue a career in modelling and to educate herself. She recently graduated and could not be more proud of herself.
"My graduation was a success, I was wearing Samantha Maxine satin suit and Dunn's also dressed me too"
Too add to that, she also recently did a major photo shoot for Jaguar.
"My company is doing so well, I am doing so well and I am so honored to be part of the Jaguar family. Indeed its possible for a village girl to achieve a lot, the sky is the limit"
She added that she hopes her journey serves as an inspiration to others.
"I want to show them that it's possible and there's a way in life"
