As the Absa Premiership drew to a close, many reporters and supporters immediately started speculating on the transfer activity during the transfer window.
One man who has been a topic for debate has been Siphesihle Ndlovu at Maritzburg United.
The attacking midfielder was touted to sign for champions, Mamelodi Sundowns.
However, Ndlovu signed for Orlando Pirates in the end and KickOff.com revealed the reasons why.
Ndlovu will be joined by United teammate Fortune Makaringe at the Buccaneers.
A key factor which influenced his decision is the style of football played by Pirates.
Ndlovu loves the attacking style and feels that its more in sync with his own skills.
He said, "Pirates brought an offer to the team, and then the team sat me down and we talked about it. Ja obviously I've been always willing to play for the black and white, but then when the offer arrived I could see that this is where I could fit in.”
Briefly.co.za understands that Ndlovu has signed a 3-year deal with Pirates.
