Briefly.co.za shared the news that Collen Maine, ANC Youth League president, blamed Julius Malema for the group’s troubles. South Africans have reacted to the news with a wide range of opinions.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that outgoing ANCYL president Maine blamed Julius Malema for their slump.
According to Maine, Juju’s insults directed towards Helen Zille cost the group badly.
It’s been reported that Malema’s antics resulted in litigation, which could ultimately mean that the group is liquidated.
Following the claims, South Africans shared their views on the matter via our social media page.
Samson Mlambo said, “Maine should be blamed for ANC's poor performance. He never campaigned for the youth or even addressing the challenges of the youth hence the eff and the DA preached the message that resonated with the youth while he was busy drinking whiskey with Bathabile.”
Gregory Mojapelo said in jest, “OROS YOU DRANK THE WHOLE SQUASH NOW YOU PLAY THE BLAME GAME.”
Michael van Zyl commented: “The Youth league was financially extremely strong but Juju masterminded a way to steal their money and that's why they kicked him out Juju was a poor man but left the ANC youth league a very wealthy man today Juju is the 4th richest man in SA...Juju must pay back the money.”
Kenneth Themba added: “Like really Oros? Malema left the ANC a long time ago mos. Blaming him today shows that you are carrying the stupidity with a high grade.”
Thokoza Nqwiliso said, “Leave Malema alone just do your work or just move out let the others do the work!!”
