Mzansi rapper, Kwesta, took to social media to celebrate another milestone in his music career.
Kwesta’s newly releases single, Khethile Khethile, which was accompanied by a video has reached more than 1 million views on YouTube already.
According to SA Hip Hop magazine, the music video caught the attention of music lovers as it showcased the day of the rapper’s wedding to Yolanda. While the video may have broke the hearts of many women crushing on the rapper, a large number of others loved every moment of it.
Kwesta took to Twitter to say it has been a little over three weeks since the release of the music video and it has 1.5million views on YouTube.
He wrote: “1.5Million views for #Khethile Khethile on YouTube in record time. If you’re also feeling the love please share now and request the song on your favourite radio stations.”
The single is really ding well. It also debuted at number one on RAMS charts. Kwesta encouraged fans to vote and tune in some more on SA radios, to keep his song at the top.
“It debuted at #1 @radiomonitorsa’s RAMS Chart and You can help us get it back on the top tomorrow,” he added.
About three weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Kwesta is considered one of Mzansi's most-talented musicians and he works hard to keep giving his fans the kind of music they want. The rapper says he wants his music to reflect his life and feelings.
