Twitter user, Ulrich Janse van Vuuren (@UlrichJvV), shared two tweets which praised the ingenuity of Ruben Ondo Ekang Angue for his brilliant invention.
Janse van Vuuren lauded the 25-year-old for his invention, which allows one to switch a light bulb on and off by making a simple phone call.
He shared photos and a video of the device and the post went viral since being shared on Wednesday.

Many tweeps were astonished that the young inventor was able to manufacture the device within a few hours.
However, not everyone was impressed and shared some harsh words in response.
One man even felt the post made a mockery of Africans.
