A woman has taken to social media to congratulate her deaf sister for achieving a doctorate in Hydrology from the University of Venda.

"This is my sister who just obtained her PhD in Hydrology at the University of Venda. Dr Lutendo Rhinah Singo who lost her hearing at a young age yet she managed to be this far academically. She is my WCW and everyday crush. She is a strong woman. Love"
