The EFF has applauded Greece for taking a stance against racism on an international level after serving Adam Catzavelos with a summons. Catzavelos is facing a court case over his infamous k-word rant.
The Economic Freedom Fighters have welcomed Greek prosecution of Adam Catzavelos for his k-word rant.
The party had laid a case of crimen injuria against the businessman in connection to his viral racist tirade while holidaying in Greece.
Briefly.co.za reported yesterday that Catzavelos' lawyer had revealed that they had recieved a summons from the country, although the exact charges are not yet known.
The EFF's Mandisa Mashego had led the red berets during yesterday's court appearance, commenting that:
“Greece is actually saying you’re not welcomed here. He’s going to be one of those without a country to belong to and we don’t have a problem because we’ve endured racism for centuries.”
The party claims that they will follow the case all the way to Greece, if needs be, reports Eyewitness News.
