South Africans were left speechless over video footage which allegedly showed a man getting robbed at an ATM without realising it.
A video was posted on social media which allegedly showed an elderly man getting robbed at an ATM without him noticing.
On Thursday, video footage was shared on South Africa Live's Facebook page which reportedly showed a thug stealing from an elderly man at an ATM.
The video shows the man offering to help the madala when he appears to take something from the ATM without the other person noticing.
"Please stop accepting help from strangers at ATMs! This is broad daylight robbery," the video was captioned.

Briefly.co.za gathered no information was given on when or where the video was filmed, nor was it confirmed whether or not the elderly man was in fact robbed.
South Africans could not believe their eyes and some even said the same thing happened to people they knew.
Marti Howley commented: "I had to call the security guard because a guy insisted that the old lady needs help at the ATM. He also jumped in his car and drove off. The guard said they target older people."
Jaraad Hassim said: "Happened to my Dad when passing through Polokwane."
Bev Hepworth Gregory added: "Tried it with me twice and I told them to please step back and stop talking nonsense as I WORK IN THE BANK. That usually sends them away."
Dave Love wrote: "I had a card cloned at a machine. Withdrew R6 000 and went on a spending spree before I could cancel it. Try and claim your money back. Its a joke. Took a year and got half back but Nedbank were well aware that that machine was a problem and had a pile of open dockets on their desk. So if they know a machine is a problem one why no camera coverage or security? WTF. The banks don't want to take any responsibility for any problems. Its a joke!!"
