Twitter user Theo_doll's tweet read:

"My ex from 3 years ago keeps coming back to me even when he's in a relationship. He always says he wants me around even as friends. He just can't let go. Lately he's been practically boyfriending. I don't even see a need for a boyfriend."

She went on to say that she even reached out to his girlfriend to let her know about the situation.

"He was mad at me for two weeks. Got over it and came back. But they are still together with the girl. When I ask him why he's doing this, he says he wants to see me happy and feels like he owes me a lot."

While Mxolisibryan9 said:

"He wants you back, he realised that the grass ain't greener on the other side. He still loves you and he wouldn't cheat on you, he's just confused about how to tell you he loves and wants you back. Give him the benefit of the doubt."

Mmadiangel wisely said:

"You are scared of moving on but trust me when I say this, if he can be with someone else and still claim he loves you still then he will do same when he is with you cause he feels his gf lacks something you have but you can never meet someone that has it all and that's life. Move on before it's late."
