- A man took to social media to declare that even though he is black, he doesn’t see white people as enemies
- He added that he does regard black corrupt criminals as enemies
- Many social media users shared the same sentiments, but some felt there was no need to distinguish based on race
A young man shared his strong belief on race via social media and Mzansi seemingly gave him the stamp of approval.
Twitter user, @MuthuMurema, shared his view that he doesn’t see white people as enemies, simply because of the colour of their skin or being descendants of colonialists.
He added that he does regard black corrupt criminals as enemies, however.
The tweet was shared on Monday and has attracted more than 2 000 likes along with nearly 200 comments.
Briefly.co.za noted the reaction via social media and many saluted him for his post.
However, numerous tweeps took exception to the emphasis placed on race in the post.
They felt that all criminals should be regarded as enemies, irrespective of race.
For the most part, he was commended for his brave and direct approach.
