Zuma teams up with the church to inspire young South Africans

On Monday, former South African president Jacob Zuma and his wife teamed up with the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) to inspire young people - and photos of the day were shared on social media.

Jacob Zuma and his wife, Tobeka, took time out of their busy schedules to spend time with young people in celebration of Youth Day.

Tobeka Madiba Zuma took to social media to share photos of their day with the young people. Briefly.co.za gathered that the United Congregational Church of Southern Africa (UCCSA) was part of the special day.

Her post read:

"The power of youth is the common wealth for the entire world. The faces of young people are the faces of our past, our present and our future.
"No segment in the society can match with the power, idealism, enthusiasm and courage of the young people. Thank you @indlalifa and the UCCSA leadership for bringing the young ones ukuzohabula ku @presjgzuma cont. to do the wonderful work you are doing."

Mr and Mrs Zuma's efforts with the youth were applauded on social media and South Africans gave their two cents' worth in the comment section.

Social media user ntombizodwa9398 wrote: "When God blesses you, it's important to appreciate it and be grateful. He will continue to bless you and watch over you. God bless you and keep you safe guys."
Another Instagram user, amo1784, commented: "You are such an inspiration Mrs Zuma, an amazing wife and mother - you are truly the rope that brings the family together in a wonderful manner."
