President Cyril Ramaphosa made a quick lunch stop at takeaway spot in Cape Town while between his meetings and preparations for the State of the Nation Address scheduled to take place this Thursday. Excited locals were keen to get selfies with the country's number one.

Ramaphosa, who has become quite the social butterfly since his ascent to presidency happily snapped photos with the excited Cape Tonians.

Social media users were equally impressed by his humanity, with Facebook user Thabang Mabote saying:

"The president of our people"
