Cassper Nyovest has spoken out against people being judgemental towards Nadia Nakai’s latest outfit.
Nadia Nakai rocked an over-the-top outfit during her Castle Lite Unlocks performance on Monday night which left little to the audience’s imagination. The outfit clearly showed off Nadia’s assets.
People immediately took to social media expressing different opinions. While some said the “Imma Boss” rapper uses her body to stay relevant, others felt the criticism was unfair and Nadia wasn’t doing anything different when compared to international stars like Niki Minaj or Cardi B.
Cassper Nyovest, who is Nadia’s label boss, came to the rapper’s defence on Twitter. He urged social media trolls to stop judging her and let her enjoy her body.
Cassper wrote: "Why is it that Ya'll always on Nadia's Case about how she dresses? Who are you to tell a woman how to dress ? It's her body!!!! Let the poor girl enjoy her body!!!! This has to stop."
Cassper's tweet attracted 5.6k likes, 702 retweets and 386 comments since he posted it.
Some people agreed with Mufasa, saying they liked it when Nikki and Cardi B did it, but not our own.
But others suggested that Cass stay out of this and let Nadia handle her own business, because people are usually addressed by the way they dress.
According to SA Hip Hop magazine, Nadia, who has fallen victim to cyberbullying many times, said that what people say at this point doesn’t really matter. She is more concerned about her new album, titled Nadia Naked, dropping on 28 June.
A few days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that the gorgeous rapper and songwriter, Nadia Nakai, is super-excited about dropping her debut album later in June. She's ready for tongues to wag over her experimental work and the pan-African elements she added.
Nadia Nakai is almost ready to drop her debut album and she's very excited about it. The rapper is also prepared for any critique she may get for her experimental sound, according to TimesLIVE.
