TV debut and paid school fees: How Mzansi helped Thabisa Xhelithole

Briefly.co.za previously reported on Mzansi’s overwhelming reaction to the request from Thabisa Xhelithole.

It started off with a plea for R10 and has snowballed into an abundance of blessings for the single mother.

At the time of reporting our earlier article, Thabisa’s electricity meter reflected a reading of 2 429.57 units.

Thabisa provided further updates as she insisted on revealing that she received assistance from people of varying race and nationalities.

In her previous social media post, she wrote: "And I cannot keep silent, I got blessing from every race and nationality. The love and blessing was an unified blessing from black, white, coloured, Indian and people around the world."

In another twist, the grateful mother revealed that she’s been invited to appear on SABC 2’s Morning Live show.

As a result of Mzansi’s generosity, Thabisa has also been able to settle half of her son’s school fees for the year.

She shared this news via twitter once again, along with a photo of her electricity reading – it has risen even more to a whopping 3 083.67.

Briefly.co.za noted how social media users appreciated the news, as her post attracted more than 16 000 likes.

Based on the positive reaction, the interview was a resounding success.
