Good Samaritan blesses homeless man who gives out small Bibles

South Africans were inspired by a homeless man's faith after a Good Samaritan posted a video online. The clip showed BI Phakathi blessing the man, giving him food, a blanket and money.

BI Phakathi once again manage to inspire Mzansi with his kindness. Briefly.co.za gathered Phakathi, who has become famous for helping the less fortunate, posted a video on Facebook which showed him blessing a homeless man.

The man, who identified himself as Jason, hands out small Bibles in return for a donation, but he was left emotional after meeting Phakathi.

Phakathi gave Jason a blanket, cold drink and bread before giving him money - despite the homeless man revealing he had to overcome several challenges that planted 'bad seeds' in his life.

Social media users were touched by the story and they gave their two cents' worth in the comment section.

Lauren Seager Laas commented: "This man touched my heart with his positive spirit, he has nothing but he has so much to give. I pray that he will find a job and a home soon."
Ben Beyleveld added: "And we all cry with food on our tables. Let this man's spirit teach us all a lesson in faith. GOD bless you bud."
Megan Fineberg wrote: "This is so touching. May he have the strength to keep his life on the right track. I hope he secures his ID. Bless you BI for the giving that you do."
Ineke Truter said: "I hope that someone sees this and gives this man a chance at a job. Thank you for all you do!!! I would love to do even half of it in my hometown."
