The wait is over as the much-anticipated 2019 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) will kick off on Friday, June 21.
The AFCON - which happens to be the flagship football tournament on the continent - will be staged in Egypt.
For the past 20 years, only 16 teams partake in the competition but this time, it will be 24 teams fighting for the cup.
As expected, all the teams are ready to defend their respective national colours.
However, Ghana is one of the teams and the four-time African champions have been housed in Group F alongside Cameroon, Benin and Guinea Bissau.
The Black Stars will be based in Ismail, one of the biggest cities in Egypt, for their group games.
The West African giants will be lodging at one of the luxurious hotels (Tolip Forsan Island Hotel & Resort) in the North African country.
Well, Briefly.co.za has taken a look into the hotel, which is situated close to a beach.
The hotel has a football field, meaning the Black Stars will not move out of the hotel to train.
