A woman from Canada has narrated how her fears came to life after she woke up in a locked, empty plane.
Tiffani Adams claimed she was traveling from Quebec, Canada to Toronto and happened to fall asleep during the short flight.
Briefly.co.za learnt that, according to The Independent, the flight lasted one hour and thirty minutes.
A terrified Tiffany woke up at around midnight with her body shivering from the cold and a plane that was pitch black.
The lady, who thought she was having a bad dream, said she was shaken and still trapped in her seat.
Tiffani who says she suffers from an anxiety disorder, attempted to phone a friend but one minute into the conversation, the call got disconnected.
Her phone was off and there was no power on the plane so the stranded passenger had no way to charge the device.
"I could not charge my phone to call for help so I panicked. As someone with anxiety, I can tell you that was terrifying," she added.
Tiffany, who narrated her ordeal on Air Canada's Facebook page, said she used a torch to try capturing airport officials' attention.
She had successfully opened the door but could not climb down the plane so she sat with her feet swaying hoping someone would spot her.
A startled employee then spotted her and escorted the distraught lady to the airport building.
