Kwaito star Mshoza has been in the music industry for more than a decade and is obviously under pressure to stay 'relevant'. However, the muso says she doesn't need any hype, she makes classic hits.
Mshoza considers herself the 'Queen of Kwaito', and as someone who's been in the music industry for more than a decade, she may very well be just that.
However, that doesn't mean the musician is a stranger to bad publicity and negative vibes from people who have a lot to say about her.
She's been accused of using her body and plastic surgery to stay 'relevant', according to TimesLIVE.
But the star won't let that get to her and says she doesn't need to create hype - she makes classic music hits.
Mshoza still thinks of herself as the greatest Kwaito muso in Mzansi and says she's been in the industry too long to seek attention by creating hype through what she does.
"I do not need hype for my music, as I create classic hits. I was a superstar way before "hype" was a thing. I use social media platforms to get across some truth about me and sometimes it shakes up the country."
The accusations come after Mshoza shared a video in which she tells men who are interested in her that if they have less than a million in the bank, they can stay away from her.
Briefly.co.za reported that the video quickly went viral, and Mshoza got dragged by social media users.
Some men went as far as saying she's not worth their hard-earned money, but the singer hit back and said she's proud of how she looks.
