Percy, the young gentleman people all over Mzansi donated towards, is now working for Ten-28 Coffee in Blairgowrie. He has also found a room to rent and moved in yesterday.

Briefly.co.za previously reported that the 24-year-old student was kicked out onto the streets after not being able to pay for accommodation. Over R12 000 has been raised for Percy and the amount continues to climb.

Percy was also desperately looking for a job and thanks to Mzansi, he has landed employment in a coffee store.

Social media users reacted positively to the wonderful news, with Facebook user Megan Jacobs saying:

While Jennifer Kathleen Friend said:

"Well done Percy! To Kelly-Ann and Sammy Parrish for your beautiful work! You guys are awesome! All the best in your new adventure Percy! I'll drop off some clothes for you during the week."

Although he is slowly getting on his feet, his biggest need at the moment is clothing.
