Jacob Zuma went viral on Monday after he shared a video of himself telling a story about the time he was detained and interrogated at Hercules Police Station.
Last week, a soldier named Mabena had Mzansi in stitches as he tried and failed to keep up with his comrades. Briefly.co.za reported on the video which has since gone viral and made Mabena a household name.
In fact, Mabena was so popular he even attracted the attention of the former SA head of state, Jacob Zuma.
Taking to his Twitter account on Monday, uBaba shared a throwback story of the time he was detained and interrogated at a local police station.
"That Mabena video reminded me of the one time we were detained at Hercules Police Station," he captioned the video.
The video quickly went viral, reaching over 156 000 views since it was published and Mzansi was left in stitches.
Twitter user @tommy_ancell commented: "I wish there was some sort of live feed of how it is in your home baba I'm sure it's just joy we miss you."
Meanwhile, in other Zuma-related news, Msholozi finally agreed to appear before the Zondo Commission.
This comes after the Zondo Commission gave the former president a deadline last week to confirm his attendance, with dates scheduled for July 15 to 19.
