Mzansi rapper, Emtee, has reportedly crashed two of his expensive luxury cars - a Mercedes-Benz GLE 4x4 and an AMG - in less than two weeks.
Emtee has had a trail of bad luck this year, besides his alleged saga with his recording label, Ambitiouz Entertainment.
The rapper spent time in hospital after he was involved in two accidents which left his two luxury cars damaged. But it was his refusal to report the matters to the police which have gotten him into more trouble.
According to Sunday World, Ambitiouz Entertainment came to his rescue. Sunday World had seen a statement that alleged that Emtee was driving a Mercedes -Benz GLE 4x4 with two unknown people in the car when he allegedly crashed it into a street pole in January. It is believed that Emtee fled the scene and left the damaged vehicle behind.
“The record label did not repossess the Mercedes-Benz as alleged. At around 6am on Sunday, 27 January 2019, Ambitiouz received a call from a tow-truck driver informing us about an unattended Mercedes-Benz GLE 4x4 that was involved in an accident. The Ambitiouz team quickly rushed to the scene and on their arrival, Emtee and the two passengers were not there. The car was towed to an approved panel beater in Sandton, who gave us a quote of R706 787.
“The Ambitiouz team then organised transport for Emtee to be taken from his home to a hospital in Midrand to be treated. The label further assisted in him being admitted and contributed towards his medical bill.
“Ambitiouz Entertainment management went to visit him later in hospital and requested that he make a statement to the police in order to assist with insurance claims which he refused. The reasons for his refusal cannot be disclosed by the label.
“As a result he requested the label to repair the car, the cost of which he has signed an acknowledgement of debt [to pay],” read the statement.
The statement also alleged that two weeks after the accident, Emtee allegedly crashed another Mercedes-Benz, this time an A45 AMG.
“The vehicle was towed to a panel beater and the repair cost was R244 371 and these damages have not been reported [to the police] for reasons known to him.”
Meanwhile, two weeks ago, Briefly.co.za reported that rapper Emtee's label, Ambitiouz Entertainment, has reportedly repossessed his cars and the home he was renting. Emtee previously spoke about leaving the label, whose boss has denied the claims, saying it was not true at all.
SA Hip Hop Mag reported that local rapper, Emtee, has been done in by his record label, Ambitiouz Entertainment.
According to the report, the label repossessed the house the rapper had been renting in Midrand as well as all his cars. It is assumed the label company owned the Johannesburg home.
The situation between Emtee and Ambitiouz Entertainment has taken a turn for the worst, as reported by Sunday Sun.
