Brazen thugs steal car in broad daylight and Mzansi is fuming

South Africans were left both heartbroken and furious over a video which showed thugs casually stealing a car in broad daylight.

On Tuesday, a video was shared on Twitter which showed another brazen car theft in broad daylight.

Although it was not stated when the act of crime took place, the @crimeairnetwork did reveal it happened at Jeppestown in Johannesburg, Gauteng.

Briefly.co.za gathered the video sparked quite the reaction and South Africans were left heartbroken over the high crime rate in Mzansi.

Social media user @Tshupetso_M commented: "These days all the cars are being taken."
Amien Davids, who goes by the Twitter handle‏ @AmienDavids2, added: "As long as we see the death penalty as an apartheid system we will never reduce crime. Currently criminals get away with murder in SA. Take a brutal stance on criminals and see the difference. Look at Saudi Arabia no mercy to criminals."
Another tweep, @mlulekizuma200, wrote: "Crime in SA it's an everyday activity. Government must make a plan."
Twitter user @Choir667 said: "Our law system is very lenient on the criminals. Government must exercise harsher punishment on these crime perpetrators."
Tweep @Niren_ commented: "Johannesburg in full chaos and anarchy. @HermanMashaba 2 years as Mayor - nothing has changed."
