Orlando Pirates confirm signing of Gabadinho Mhango from Bidvest Wits

Orlando Pirates have confirmed the signing of Malawian international, Gabadinho Mhango, from Bidvest Wits.

The forward will undergo his medical on Thursday as confirmed by Pirates in a statement.

The 26-year-old was previously linked with Soweto rivals, Kaizer Chiefs, but the Buccaneers will be his new home.

KickOFF.com reported that he became the 8th player to sign for Pirates during this transfer window.

He now joins the likes of Joris Delle, Bongani Sam, Fortune Makaringe, Siphesihle Ndlovu, Kabelo Dlamini, Tshegofatso Mabasa and Tebogo Tlolane.

Briefly.co.za previously reported on Kaizer Chiefs signing James Agyekum Kotei and the somewhat frosty reaction it received.

However, it was a completely different story on the Buccaneers’ twitter account after the new signing was introduced.

It seems the Pirates faithful can’t wait to see the new forward in action and many implied that their rivals are already intimidated.
