Devastated Mzansi woman relives her robbery: 'No one helped me'

A woman has taken to social media to share how she was robbed in front of people and nobody came to her assistance.

Twitter user Pretty48115230 shared a harrowing experience of how thugs jumped her while she was on her way home in Vereeniging. She says that they took her bags, which contained clothing, shoes and her laptop. They also took her purse, which contained her taxi fare and ID.

"I cried for help but people were passing me like there's nothing happening. No one helped me."

Mzansi social media users had words of comfort for the traumatised lady. Twitter user ms_tourist said:

"Eish so so sorry my angel, SA is really becoming something I can’t even explain."

While Mbali_Relebohil said:

"Vereeniging is very dangerous, please guys be careful..."

ConradKekana said:

"You in my prayers tonight."

She responded by saying that someone paid for her taxi fare home.
