A woman, who hails from Cape Town, has taken to social media to share the hilarious manner in which her co-worker gave notice at their job.
Giving notice at a job, especially one where you're not happy, can be stressful. However, a woman took to social media to share how her co-worker gave a month's notice and it is one for the history books.
Briefly.co.za gathered social media user, @bitchitshan, shared two photos of her colleague's genius resignation.
"One of our team members handed in their notice like this," she captioned the post.
The photos showed a card which reads: "So very sorry for you loss," on the front and "My last day at work is the 28th of July" written inside.
The card also reads, "thinking of you at this difficult time," and is signed off with "love, X".
The post had social media users in stitches and it even inspired a couple of tweeps to share similar stories.
From mailing cakes that read, "happy retirement to me", to writing letters comparing their time at the company to prison, social media users showed off some of the most creative ways they quit their jobs.
Chris Labarthe, who goes by the Twitter handle @chris_labarthe, commented: "I once quit via PowerPoint."
