Many people love the catchphrase ‘sometimes heroes don’t wear capes’ and it was particularly relevant in a recent story shared via social media.

Three gentlemen were keeping motorists safe without any fuss or acclaim.

Their consideration and efforts would have gone unnoticed were it not for Satish Dhupelia.

He shared their short story via Facebook earlier this week and it struck a chord with social media users.

His post explained that a drain cover had somehow slipped down a drain on a busy road.

Two police officers and a car guard quickly sensed the risk it posed to motorists and were seen lying face down trying to remedy the situation.
