- The Tshwane EFF office has come forward to chastise the city’s administration
- According to the red berets, the Tshwane government is more invested in achieving clean audits than delivering quality services to its citizens
- In a statement, the Tshwane EFF went on to criticise the “cosy relationship” that seems to be developing between the DA and the ANC in the region
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) office in Tshwane recently made statements that slammed the city’s administration.
According to The Citizen, the Tshwane EFF has accused those in charge of the region of being more concerned with clean audits than service delivery to South African citizens.
The red berets also commented on the “cosy relationship” that appeared to be forming between Tshwane’s African National Congress (ANC) and Democratic Alliance (DA) factions.
“The EFF is not surprised by the cosy relationship that has emerged in Tshwane between the DA and ANC. It is only a matter of time before the two champions of white monopoly capital embraced each other firmly joint at the hip by their pro-business and anti-poor neo-liberal policies,” a statement made by the Tshwane EFF read.
The Tshwane EFF Chairperson, Moafrika Mabogwana, proceeded to outline some of the evidence of this relationship between SA’s two top political parties.
Mabogwana claimed that the “eviction of landless black people”, the vote for the city’s budget to be decreased to R100 million and the sale of certain municipal land were all examples of the ANC and DA colluding on some level.
Briefly.co.za gathered that Mabogwana and the EFF also saw evidence that “the DA is more obsessed with clean audits to the extent of compromising service delivery.”
This is allegedly part of the reason why the EFF asked for Mayor Solly Msimanga to step down from his position.
