Cristiano Ronaldo reportedly gave the staff at the five-star Westin Resort, Costa Navarino, an £18 000 (about R322 127) tip for keeping paparazzi away and helping protect their privacy while on holiday with his family.
The Portuguese soccer star spent a week in Greece before heading to France on vacation, after a successful season that saw him lift the UEFA Nations League and also win the Serie A with Juventus.
According to Spanish newspaper AS, Ronaldo was so pleased with the level of respect for privacy in the hotel shown by workers that he left them £18,000 (R322 127).
The tip was especially for warding off lurking paparazzi looking for shots.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that the Portuguese talisman is soaking up in the sun with his partner, Georgina Rodriguez and kids in the French Riviera.
In a series of snaps posted on Instagram, Ronaldo and Georgina can be seen enjoying the luxuries on board an incredible yacht christened Africa 1.
