AKA, one of Mzansi's most popular rappers, has expressed his opinion on debating on social media: it might not be the best place. The rapper has been quite talkative on social media himself, but seems to have learned from it.
AKA was once considered the 'King of Twitter' but it seems his days of dominating the social media streets are over - by choice.
The rapper recently weighed in on the dangers of Twitter and admitted that it may not be the ideal place to have a healthy debate.
TimesLIVE reports that AKA, who was once known for his social media rants, joined in on an online conversation about the current state of Twitter.
According to the report, sports personality, Mpho Letsholonyane, noted that the popular social media platform can be messy.
"Twitter can be such a mess. Purely because we still haven’t learnt how to engage one another in order to further discussions..."
Briefly.co.za gathered that AKA suggested that Twitter would not be the place for what Mpho was suggesting.
"Maybe Twitter isn’t the place to engage one another, or to have discussions."
AKA must have learnt his lesson after spending so much time on social media. Perhaps that's what inspired his "drink water and mind your own business" motto.
