Meet Lennon Monyae: The man leading the youth revolution across Africa

Lennon Monyae is giving African youth a voice by giving them a platform to share their potential initiatives for the future.

Monyae works as a researcher at the African Peer Review Mechanism (APRM) and is a driving force behind the youth revolution across the continent.

The organisation was established by the African Union (AU) to push transformative leadership throughout Africa.

The AU recognised this self-monitoring mechanism is the best way forward for the continent to finally reach its potential.

Good Things Guy reported on Monyae’s role within the group and how he is introducing youth to governance issues.

The local man is currently engaging with diplomats and heads of state to map the way forward with the youth as one of the keys to future governance.

Briefly.co.za understands that Monyae leads the “Youth Governance Revolution” within the APRM.

Through his efforts, the APRM arranged an Africa Month Youth Symposium at the University of Cape Town (UCT) and is currently hosting its maiden International APRM Youth Symposium in Ndjamena, Chad.

The event is running from the 1st to 2nd of July.
