Pearl Thusi has decided to step away from social media interactions

With the recent drama still swirling above her head, entertainer Pearl Thusi seems to have decided that taking a step back is the best course of action right now. She says she wants to do things differently from now on.

Pearl Thusi and Bonnie Mbuli got into a debate on Twitter that caused quite the stir. It seemed that everyone was talking about the colourism discussion between the two ladies.

As a result, Pearl has decided to step back and evaluate what it is she wants to achieve on social media platforms.

TimesLIVE reports that the fiery exchange also prompted Pearl into deleting all her tweets.

She now hopes to do thing differently and better, as her fans and their opinions matter to her.

Pearl shared videos on social media in which she got quite emotional.

Briefly.co.za gathered from a statement by the entertainer that she admits to sometimes having no tact and lacking self-control.

Part of her statement read:

"From now on, my social media, more especially my Twitter is going to work differently. Point is... your opinion matters to me but I will no longer engage altogether. I will now focus on aiming to create content that will spread my opinion and message in a more powerful way and succinct way.
"I hate regretting my reactions to social media. I'm realising how I could have handled things better but in the heat of the moment, self-control isn't my strongest point."
