Kind man buys food and prays for families after shacks burn down

A man has taken to social media to share how he went to visit a settlement that had just suffered a shack fire. The people he was travelling with were able to donate food and pray for the affected families.

Facebook user BI Phakathi is known for his philanthropic deeds on social media. He took to the platform to share a video of their visit. He captioned it:

"In this cold weather their shack houses burned down and these people lost everything, we visited to show some love to the families affected."

In the footage, he was shown the damage the community suffered. He learned that the children were in dire need of clothes as all was lost in the fire.

Mzansi social media users expressed their admiration for the kind act. Facebook user Deidre Du Toit Watkins said:

"Lord feed the hungry and cloth the needy. You are simply inspiring BI! May our God continue to bless you."

Danlien Last said:
