Africans have always been known to help those who reach out for help on social media. With this knowledge in mind, many Nigerians in need of help often take to different platforms to ask.
A Nigerian man identified as Okumogwe Raymond took to social media to ask people for financial support.
The young man, who is an amputee, turned to Twitter to seek help in order to get new crutches for his movement. The man also shared photos of himself to show them his amputated leg.
In his tweet, Raymond further prayed that God would bless anyone who assisted him with money to buy the crutches. He shared his account details as well.
It looks like the man's faith in humanity was rewarded, because in another tweet, he revealed that he might end up getting an artificial leg after Nigerians began to give him some money.
He said: "God bless you all. I might even get an artificial leg. Am grateful to all."
