A man has taken to social media to share a story about how a grocery store cashier paid for his groceries after his card kept declining.
Brandon-lee Britz posted the heartwarming story on Facebook. He was doing his monthly grocery shopping at Food Lovers Market in Somerset West. After the cashier had rung all his items up the total came to R1 300
The cashier swiped his card but it kept declining. He then decided to go try and withdraw the money but the ATM gave him an error message.
"Finally I decided to transfer the money to a friend and use his card to pay but this gave an error as well"
The cashier, names Nolitha, then said that she would pay the full amount if they could come and pay her in the morning.
"This goes to show that there are great people out there and I would like to pay it forward by starting a donation for her!"
Brandon's goal is to get roughly a monthly salary for her which is R6000. He has donated R1000 and is calling on Mzansi to contribute.
"Please share and make her famous! She deserves it"
