Social media has a field day as Trump's 4th of July event got soaked

Donald Trump was made fun of after rain soaked his 4th of July speech outside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington. His supporters (and some protesters) all got drenched before his 'Salute to America' event.

US President Donald Trump and his loyal supporters got more attention from mother nature than they wanted on the country's Independence Day on 4 July.

Just hours before President Trump's 'Salute to America' event outside the Lincoln Memorial in Washington it started to rain, according to HuffPost.

His critics saw it as either a sign of displeasure or karma. They took to Twitter to enjoy the weather and #RainOnTrumpsParade started to trend.

Despite the fun that critics had with the downpours on the president they so strongly disapprove of, the event still managed to pull a decent audience, as reported by Vox.
