Take that SuperSport: Robert Marawa starts his own sports channel

South Africans have shown overwhelming support for Robert Marawa after he launched his own sports channel.

Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported Robert Marawa started his own sports channel. Marawa saw a gap in the market for an online sports station in Mzansi and ran with it.

The channel was an instant hit with South Africans, who took to social media to praise Marawa.

Twitter user @psmchuma commented: "You're gifted chief and you have my support."
Stephen Boledi,‏ @stephen_thamaga, added: "Yes we asked for it bra Rob, now we asking you to open soccer channel. Alluta continua."
Philasande, who goes by the Twitter handle‏ @Philasa08395165, wrote: "A good leader listens, Bob you've listened to us, we know we are not millionaires nor Billionaires but yet our views and interests were taken into consideration by your good self. With that said, siyabonga mfanomdala. God be with you as you serve us."

Meanwhile, in other sports-related news, former Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Brian Baloyi opened up about the national team's Afcon performance.

Baloyi questioned coach Stuart Baxter's tactics, adding Bafana should stop playing the defensive and start going on the offence.
