The wife of Major General Noel Ndhlovu, Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu, was apparently awarded defence contracts that run to the value of about R120 million, but something is not right about the deals, as military police are now investigating.
The military police are looking into a former SAA cabin attendant after she scored defence contracts that are worth R120 million, according to TimesLIVE.
The woman, identified as Nombasa Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu, has apparently bagged these deals after getting married to her army boss bae, Maj Gen Noel Ndhlovu.
The couple apparently showed off their lavish lifestyles on social media - which is believed to have been sponsored by these deals that are reportedly not all above-board.
Briefly.co.za gathered that investigators got suspicious when they looked at tenders that were secured by Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu's company, Umkhombe Marine.
The exact amount of the contracts are not quite clear as City Press reported Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu benefited about R180 million.
The Citizen reports that Major General Ndhlovu was part of the joint operations committee, which approved all mission contracts.
According to a report by EWN, Ntsondwa-Ndhlovu says she was awarded some of her contracts before she got married to Major General Ndhlovu.
More information on this matter is believed to follow soon.
