On Saturday, a man, who has been identified as K.D Letsoalo on Twitter, shared a video which showed thugs going through a bag they had allegedly stolen only moments earlier.

According to Letsoalo, the thieves stole a bag and got into a taxi in Pretoria. Not being able to contain their excitement, they thugs started rummaging through the stolen goods - in front of everyone aboard.

"These two guys stole a bag and got in the same taxi we were in. They started searching the bag and found a laptop, a purse with some money and cards (probably license too), some papers. At Pretoria CBD," he explained in the video's caption.

Twitter user, @mahlatseGoldman, took a jab at Letsoalo, writing: "Tweeting on the comfort of your couch is easier."

However, there were those who defended Letsoalo, adding that taking a video was the safest way he could contribute to catching the thugs.
