Bafana Bafana is set to get a massive payday for their win against Egypt - which secured them a spot in the quarter finals.
The national team will be laughing all the way to the bank even if they don't beat Nigeria in the quarter-finals.
According to Sport24, each player will get at least R520 000 for qualifying for the quarter-finals.
The figure could increase even more if Bafana manages to push through to the next rounds, or if SAFA decides to give out some of the R11.35 million they are to receive for Bafana reaching the last eight.
It was earlier reported Bafana players secured a R320 000 bonus for making it to the last 16. Mzansi felt the national team did not deserve the money but their tune might have changed following the win over the weekend.
