Former Kaizer Chiefs player, Hendrick ‘Pule’ Ekstein, has got his career in Europe off to a flying start following a great performance over the weekend.
The 28-year-old starred in his side’s 5-3 victory over Zire FC in a friendly contest on Saturday.
Ekstein joined Sabah Football Club a few weeks ago after he was shown the exit door at Naturena.
Shortly after being released by the Glamour Boys, Ekstein was awarded a two-year contract by the Azerbaijani Premier League club.
Ekstein scored a brace over the weekend and will hope to remain in sparkling form when the league commences on 16 August.
KickOFF.com reported that Sabah FC had a season to forget during 2018/19 as they finished second from bottom in their league table.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that the move to Europe was the fulfilment of a life-long dream for Ekstein.
