Embattled Real Madrid dorward Gareth Bale has pushed his many troubles at the club behind to marry his childhood sweetheart secretly.
The 29-year-old who has been linked with a move back to the Premier League this summer married his spouse Emma Rhys-Jones, in front of just 60 family and friends.
Bale's low-key wedding took place hotel in Majorca with the presence of heavy security personnel - and it's believed to be connected to her family feud.
The 27-year-old bride believed to be a fraudster was not among the guests in attendance at the wedding ober the weekend.
According to SunSport, Rhys-Jones grandparents John and Eva McMurray, who brought her up were also said to have been left out.
John said: “I can’t believe what they’ve done. We knew the wedding was coming up and of course we were expecting an invite.
“We helped bring Emma up - I was like a dad to her when her own father was in jail. She asked me if I’d walk her down the aisle when she married Gareth.”
The publication also revealed that the attacker initially wanted a star-studded occasion in a picturesque Italian castle with Beyonce as their wedding singer, they they abandoned the plan after a “rollercoaster” year.
Gareth Bale's future at Real Madrid is doubtful after Zinedine Zidane told him to look for a new club this summer.
