Earlier this month, a social media user, Juline Mulder, took to social media to share a video that showed the condition of the old De Aar Hospital.
The man who filmed the video drove past people walking with stolen goods before he arrived at the hospital.
He then asks the security guards questions before taking a walk through the hospital, catching looters red-handed.
The video gathered over 159 000 views since it was posted on Facebook and South Africans wre outraged over the footage.
Stef Kruger commented: "And government wants to make NHI compulsory for everyone. What a really kak joke. No thanks 'guvment', I'll pay for private Healthcare."
Debbie Olivier added: "Gosh, that building could have housed a school.. just absolutely shocking!"
