Tweezy is just one of the many people who played a part in making AKA’s album, Levels, the success it has become.

According to SA Hip Hop magazine, Tweezy produced three of the songs on the album, Run Jozi, Sim Dope and All Eyes On Me.

Tweezy took to Twitter to share how proud he is of the album, which has now gone 7x platinum, but also to mention how working on it gave him his big break.

He wrote: “A life changing moment for a young broke high school dropout from Jabulani, Soweto. An experience and opportunity that produced a 7x Platinum Selling Classic. Now that’s Levels. Bless you forever @akaworldwide.”

A few days ago, Briefly.co.za reported that Tweezy expressed that he is going through a difficult time, struggling with depression.

“I’m currently going through what feels like the worst time of my life. My anxiety and depression is at its peak. I’ve decided to take some [time] away from social media. I need to get myself together again.”

Fans and celebrities expressed their concern and love for Tweezy, for which he then thanked them for the love and support.

The love you guys are showing me is so overwhelming, I appreciate it so much. I live to inspire all those who are inspired.”

Some months back, Briefly.co.za reported that this year seems to be the year for collaborations in the music industry. Every Mzansi artist is looking forward to working with another artist, which proves great for the music culture. A Tweezy and Cassper Nyovest collab is definitely one to look out for.

Both Tweezy and Cassper have been working non-stop on some great hits, but have never done one together. A collaboration will be something definitely to look forward to.

They are determined to drop more lit songs this year and we dig the unity between these two artistes.
