It's been quite a week of comments for and against the gay community, and actress Bonnie Mbuli has joined the celebs who came to their defence. She pointed out the impact gay people have had on the entertainment industry.

After local entertainer, Zodwa Wabantu's comments about gay people, the social media streets have become a place of heated debate.

Many people have come to the defence of the LGBT community and spoken out against the 'homophobes' who criticise them.

Actress Bonnie Mbuli also took to social media to share how she feels - and she did not hold back.

Bonnie is known for saying exactly how she feels, be it positive or negative, and when she addressed this matter, Briefly.co.za noticed that she went all in.

The actress called the people speaking against gay people 'clown cakes' and went on to give a lot of credit to the people who have always stood by her side and taught her valuable lessons.
