A woman has come under fire on social media after asking a photographer to takes pictures at her wedding for free. The unnamed woman is apparently an influencer and she offered to pay the photographer by advertising him to her 55 000 followers on social media.
Her emailed proposal was exposed by the photographer (Twitter user Nani Chehore) who took to social media to ask for people's thoughts.
The cheap bride requested video documentary of the entire day and a package of approximately 1000 photos done for free.
Mzansi social media users were in disbelief and advised the photographer to either refuse the offer or completely ignore the message. Twitter user RufaroFanadzo said:
"Offer free pre-marital counselling. Starting with don't get married if you can't afford it"
While TriRacialBeauty said:
"Give them a price quote and pretend they didn't just try to pay you in Instagram promo. These influencers really think they're celebrities"
"I am so incredibly embarrassed for the person who sent this and the person getting married. Wow. Send an invoice"
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za previously reported on a wedding fail, which saw the bride and her guests plunged into a pool of water. The newlyweds together with a few guests were attempting to pose on a platform that went over a pool. The platform caved under the weight of the people standing on it and they all fell into the water.
