- A concerned African man has called on well-meaning members of the internet community to come to the aid of an orphaned young boy he recently encountered.
- The boy works as a water vendor pushing a trailer that carries 25-litre containers to provide water to his customers
-The boy chose to work instead of begging for alms
The man, identified as Hassam Ibrahim Gama, placed his cry for help on Facebook and shared photos of the 11-year-old kid who, according to him, works as a water vendor.
Gama in his post further disclosed that the kid, named Umar, pushes a trailer carrying 16 kegs of 25-litre containers in a bid to provide water to his customers.
He also disclosed that Umar, who has lost both parents, said he does not want to resort to begging for alms, which is why he made the resolve to keep struggling in life.
